2 Information we collect
None. We do not collect, transmit, or receive any information about you or your child. We have no servers and the app cannot reach the internet.
3 What the app stores on your device
So your child's planet is still there next time, the app writes a single save file to its own private storage area on your device. That file contains only:
- the name your child gave their planet, assembled from a fixed list of words we provide (there is no free-text field anywhere in the app, so a real name, address, or any other personal detail cannot be typed in);
- an internal identifier generated on the device to tell one saved planet from another, and the date the planet was created;
- the state of the planet — what has been planted, watered, or built;
- progress: which activities have been finished, which discoveries and Maker Badges have been earned, and which creatures have visited;
- your settings, such as volume, Gentle Motion, and Gentle Buzz.
This file never leaves your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it.
4 Permissions the app requests
- Vibrate — for a short buzz when something happens in the game. You can turn this off at any time with the “Gentle Buzz” switch in Settings.
That is the only permission. In particular, the app requests no internet permission, and no access to the camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, or files outside its own storage.
5 Children's privacy
This app is designed for children and participates in Google Play's Families programme. It is built to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including Article 8.
Because the app collects no data at all, there is nothing for us to disclose, sell, or share, and no data for a parent to request or delete from us. Specifically, the app contains:

7 Data retention and deletion
The save file stays on your device until you delete it. To remove everything, either clear the app's data in your device's Settings, or uninstall the app. No copy exists anywhere else, so there is nothing further to request or erase.
8 Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes what it stores or gains any network feature, we will update this policy and the “Last updated” date above before releasing that version, and we will update the Play Data Safety declaration to match.
